For our senior-year engineering capstone project, my group decided to tackle electric vehicle charging. As electric vehicles become more and more popular in the state of California, our current EV infrastructure cannot keep up. So, we decided to build an app that will allow private charging station owners to rent out their chargers to the public. We hope this will improve access to vehicle charging and reduce the amount of money the state of California needs to spend on public charging stations.
