Well, JPL groups are up and running. My group is doing okay, but we're having some issues communicating as a team. Oliver and I keep disagreeing with our project design, which isn't great, but at least we're actually, y'know, contributing, right? Don't get me wrong, Lia and Axel and Daniella are all great with 3D design, drawings, and the portfolio and all, but those things won't help us if we don't have an actual design to base 'em off of, which we don't, 'cause Oliver and I have very different ideas and nobody else wants to put their thinking cap on and help out.
As for my personal life? Well, water polo season's doing okay. We're like, 12 and 5 or something like that, but with a lot of padding from shitty teams. We've held our own against some good teams, though, so I'm pretty okay with how we're doing. We have the first Greenie run across the amphitheater during the Homecoming rally this Friday, which is always fun. The actual Greenie run won't be 'till next Friday, though, 'cause somehow the Football team managed to postpone the Homecoming game 'till after, well, Homecoming. Go figure. Other than that? Classes are doing okay, mostly, 'cept for Physics E&M- that class is going to drive me nuts. Had to teach some kids how to swim for my job last Sunday and it was a total nightmare. 5 hours of trying to corral kids under 5 into a pool and make 'em listen to me. They won't even listen to their parents, and yet they give me dirty looks when their kids don't listen, like, its not my fault your kid is a total brat, dude, they ain't gonna listen to me if they won't even listen to you. Why the hell are you buying them ice cream after they threw a twenty minute tantrum in my lessons? I hate teaching. I don't know why my job forces its guards to teach a minimum number of lessons to stay on payroll.
